An AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) calculator is a tool that automatically determines the required sample size and acceptance criteria for product inspections. By entering the lot size, inspection level, and AQL value, the calculator provides the sample size code letter, sample size, acceptance number, and rejection number.

How to Use the AQL Calculator

1. Lot Size: Enter the total production quantity. This value determines the sample size code letter based on ISO 2859-1.
2. Inspection Level: Select the inspection level. General Level II is the default for most consumer goods. Level I uses a smaller sample, Level III a larger sample. Special levels (S-1 to S-4) are used for limited, functional, or destructive inspections.
3. AQL Value: Choose the Acceptable Quality Limit. Common examples: critical defects AQL 0, major defects 1.0–2.5, minor defects 4.0–6.5.
